In 2005 Kanawha Manufacturing Company built this stainless steel absorber tower for Babcock & Wilcox. It will be installed at the Cinergy Miami Fort Power Station. The tower is 57 feet in diameter, will be 135 feet tall when assembled, and the heaviest piece weighs 138 tons. The picture shows three of the seven pieces loaded on a barge. Can you see the white shirt of the worker on the barge?
